| Dear Fellow Citizens,
It’s hard for me to believe that my six-year term as Judge of the 33rd District Court will conclude at the end of this year. I truly enjoy public service and look forward to the challenges and complexities that each day brings. I have steadfastly adhered to my campaign pledge of being “tough on crime while being fair to all concerned.” I treat all individuals appearing before me with courtesy and dignity. I make decisions and deliver opinions that are based only on facts as applied to the law. For these reasons, I am seeking your vote in the primary election on Tuesday, August 3rd and the general election on Tuesday, November 2nd for a second six-year term.
Please take a look around my web site and see the commitment that I have to our district and my continued pursuit to uphold the laws that we all share. You will see that I am active in the community, and my experience as a judge, court administrator and practicing attorney makes me uniquely qualified to continue serving the people of Brownstown, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Rockwood, Trenton, and Woodhaven as Judge.
If you have any questions, you can call or email me. If you can offer your support to the campaign I would greatly appreciate it! Kindly complete and submit the support form and someone will contact you.
Sincerely,

Edward J. Nykiel
